#13 Faculty Focus

Yep, National Lampoon’s Vacation premiered in 1983.  Clark Griswold and family on their trip to Walley World.

Craig was great to interview our faculty.  I won’t go into details of the interviews but it did help the class of 86 either admire them more, or at least discover why they acted the way they did.  Back stories help.    What I do want to share is the conclusion of Craig’s interview of Dr. Bernard Byrd, the loveable and loved Oral Surgeon Chief, our “Southern Gentleman”.

When asked about our class, Craig quotes Dr. Byrd in 1983, “People are talking, this class is really good….you have a lot on the ball, you’re cohesive and act as a unit, even the seniors are talking about the class of 86!”
